Your tour begins today in Copenhagen. Enjoy some leisure time to

Day 3: Copenhagen - Board Cruise Ship
A local expert provides an informative city tour featuring Christianborg
Palace, the Royal Theater and Amalienborg Palace, the residence
of the Danish royal family. Your tour concludes at the Little Mermaid
Statue, a 1913 sculpture honouring Hans Christian Andersen's famous
fictional character. Later today, board Holland America's ms Amsterdam
for a spectacular 10 night cruise. A thousand years ago, the sea
was Scandinavia's main thoroughfare, and it's still the best way

This morning you dock in Tallin, Estonia. Wander cobblestone alleys
beneath turrets and red-tiled roofs in the medieval Old Town. Relax
near the swan pond in Kadriorg Park. You may choose to independently
visit the impressive museum in Baroque Kadriorg Palace, home to
western European and Russian art dating from the 16th through the

Day 6: Cruising - St. Petersburg, Russia
Glorious history and art, fanciful palaces and a rich Imperial past
are all found in spectacular St. Petersburg, the "City of the
Tsars". Founded by Peter the Great to be his window on Europe,
this city combines a rich Russian heritage with a strong European

Day 7: St. Petersburg
Enjoy a full day to independently explore the best St. Petersburg
has to offer. Explore the city at leisure; shop in the newly opened
designer stores along busy Nevsky Prospekt; see the looming fortress
of Peter and Paul. Wonder at the immense quantities of gold, polished
marbles and precious gems lavished on St. Isaac's Cathedral which
was once the main church of St. Petersburg and the largest church
in Russia. Or perhaps you will spend the day viewing some of the
many treasures found inside the Hermitage Museum's 350 halls.

Day 8: Cruising - Helsinki, Finland
Shaped by its bays and islands, Helsinki is one of Europe's most
scenic capitals. Both compact and beautiful, Helsinki is perfect
for exploring by foot. Expect stylish and sophisticated shops on
Esplanade Street, or explore the Rick Church, built entirely of
stone. In the summer, the city's Market Square is filled with stalls
selling fruit, vegetables, and local wares - and is also the perfect
spot to admire, and maybe sample, some of the regions famous smoked
fish!

Day 9: Cruising - Stockholm, Sweden
Founded as a fortress in the 13th century, Stockholm spans 18 islands
and is considered one of the world's most beautiful capitals. When
you independently explore you may visit City Hall, stroll through
the Gamla Stan (Old Town), see the Riddarholm Church or the Royal
Palace. Or perhaps you will just stroll the picturesque streets
along the water and drink in the city's lovely architecture. (B,

Day 10: Cruising - Visby, Gotland, Sweden
Expansive sandy beaches and breathtaking medieval architecture make
this red-roofed island town one of Sweden's most beloved resorts.
Visby, the island's capital, is a 13th century walled city known
for its medieval churches, ruins, and spectacular rose gardens.

Day 11: Cruising - Warnemunde (Berlin), Germany
Don't miss the opportunity to tour Berlin, which has visibly flourished
since the fall of the Wall in 1989. The Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial

Day 12: Cruising - Arhus, Denmark
Today you enter Denmark and visit charming Arhus, "the world's
smallest big city." Step back to medieval times in the open-air
